In 2016, Allyson began managing camping reservation requests and grant applications for Yosemite Facelift, a volunteer event sponsored by the National Park Service an Yosemite Climbing Association. For more information, visit the Yosemite Climbing Association website.

In 2017, Allyson was recognized as Facelift Volunteer of the Year by the National Park Service. Her role has since expanded and she now manages many sponsor relationships and general event coordination.

Allyson received a generous grant from the American Alpine Club powered by the North Face through the Live Your Dream grant program for her 2015-2016 trip to Patagonia. Some of her artwork inspired by the trip can be seen through @americanalpine on Instagram.

In October 2016, Allyson presented photos and art from Patagonia and the Sierra to the Rock Ice & Mountain Club in Santa Rosa, CA.

After law school, Allyson  connected the Duke Law Club of Northern California to the International Action Network for Gender Equity & Law (IANGEL). In 2016, she was recognized by IANGEL for developing volunteer opportunities for Bay Area attorneys.

Allyson served as a board member of the Duke Law Club of Northern California between 2015 and 2017.
